MASH-UP TRACKS ARE BETTER THAN ORGINALS

The alternate title of my blog entry: AN AMBITIOUS BUT SASSY ASIAN GIRL WANTS TO WORK WITH A YOUNG FRISKY EUROPEAN BAND

Yes, that’s true. I’m a big fan of their music and their personality. I heard about their album will be releasing on summer 2012,  and I hope they will write one of their songs in English. I will save money to buy their new album on iTunes and to download it on my iPad (or my cellphone).

If you want to know how did a Filipino girl know about teenage German  band? It came from the ACCIDENT, I supposed to search ‘Apollo 13’ on YouTube for my movie report as my project in English, then I didn’t press “1” properly.  The results had appeared and I saw a blond kid on a music video called: CHAOS, I thought it was homemade but it was official video, made by Sony Music Entertainment Germany. So, they are recording artist from the major label since they were discovered by a manager named Niko at the age of 9-10 (too young). They known for their song, Superhelden , from the movie Vorstadtkrokodile. They also had a movie called Teufelskicker (Devil’s Kicker), they played as Moritz (Henry Horn), Alex (Dario Barbanti), and Shadow (Marvin Schlatter).

Well, I write this entry as my PRECIOUS goal because I want to work with them for real, I mean some of their songs have ‘RNB potential’ and I can relate to it if I have something against or interpret for a person who I admire. When I listen to their songs, their music sounds like Cobra Starship music with more guitar riff. Although, I just want to become a music artist like Esmeé Denters, Ciara, and more that I could name it.

So, I will plan to sing Unverwundbar in English version and I will post it on YouTube on May, then I will send my cover to Jay Sean via any social networking site that he has. If I got low views or Jay Sean and Apollo 3 haven’t watched my video, I should post more videos about song requests from my friends and the people who watch my covers, make a birthday cover to Georgie Henley will be turning 17, and…… I think that’s it. As long as possible, I will send my videos to music artists, actors, and of course Apollo 3.

And speaking of ‘RNB potential’, I listened to the song called ‘Turn it up’ by Ciara featuring Usher and it was perfect to sing that song because it described: fresh, edgy, and messy (lol) and it was all about it’s-our-turn-to-shake-these-things-up song. If I sing that song with them and their music style as a song cover, that will be sick or will be a new fusion of combining pop rock, RNB, and dance music.

Dario, if you’re reading my entry that I write, I just want to work with you and your band mates, Henry and Marvin. You guys are awesome! I will determine myself from my hardest obstacles to make my dreams come true as an artist. I hope you will watch my videos. And thank you for inspire me so much even I understand German a little. Because of that, I just want to help you to show your music to the world. I promise, from now on, I will improve myself more on my covers and I will be having fun of what I’m doing.
